Mies Racine Hunt, who with her sister Mrs. Frank Norris was detained here with sickness last Sunday a week ago, returned to Gastonla on the following Tuesday. Mrs. Norris is atill here for a few days stay with her parents.

She has, however, recovered her attack and will return to her home in GHStonla in a few days. Mrs. W. E. Henderson closed her school at Bradley last Saturday, after enjoying a picnic with the children.

The many friends of this dear woman wish for her a speedy restoration to health. The many friends and relatives of Miss Ruth Mayson were pained last Wednesday to learn last Wed nesday evening that she had been carried to the Greenwood Hospital here she underwent an operation for appendicitis. We are delight ed that she Is getting along very nicely.

Her mother, Mrs. J. Mayson, was in Greenwood with her last week. Miss Olivia Branyon apent last week end with Miss Aialean Warns-ley in the home ot Mr. and Mrs.
