good blood. 621 Monument Street. Funeral Services Are Held Today For Mrs. Blake Mrs. Evie Anderson Blake, 83, widow of Thomas Stuart Blake, died Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs.

James L. Perrin, In Grace-mont, following an illness extending over several weeks. Mrs. Blake was born in Coro-naca, a daughter of the late Joel Smith and Amelia Anne Anderson, both natives of Coronaca. She had made her home in Coronaca practically her entire life until last February, when she came to live with Mrs.

Perrin. She was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church in Coronaca. In addition to Mrs. Perrin, Mrs. Blake is survived by one son, Edwin Anderson Blake, of Green wood; one granddaughter, Miss Frances Anne Blake, of George town; two brothers, J.

M. Anderson, of Bluefield. West Mr- ginia; and J. L. Anderson, of Gloverville.

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Methodist Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by the Rev. J. V. Murray and the Rev. Wade Burton.

Burial was in Bethlehem cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommy Joyce, J. M. Motsinger, Brooks Stuart, James Thompson, Lewis Mc- Cravy, Ellis Stuart, Carlisle Buchanan and Harry Poole The honorary escort was composed of stewards of Bethlehem Church and H. Two Livestock Events Are Set For Chicago CHICAGO Two of the foremost livestock events in the United States will be combined into one huge exhibition by merger of the International Dairy Show with the 60th annual International Live StocK Exposition. Each ranks at the top of its field one as a continental show ing of the dairv breeds and the. other the world's leading exposition of the meat-making breeds of farm animals. The merger brings the five breeds of dairy cattle Ayrshires, Brown Swiss, Guernseys, Holsteins and Jerseys into the competi tions of the International Live Stock Exposition the first time in its 60 year history. The com bined exposition will be held here in the International Amphitheatre Nov.

27 to Dec. 5. This year's exposition takes on added international color with the entry of Canada's top dairy ani mals, as well as beef cattle, sheep and horses. The management re ports $130,000 offered in cash prizes in the competition 6f 39 breeds of farm animals that the show will feature this year. Other new events include a Quarter Horse Show a pre-opening feature of the Exposition Nov.

Revival Begins At Antreville Baptist Church ANTREVILLE A series of "November Night" meetings started last night at First Creek Baptist Church near Antreville. The November Nights revival will be held each Sunday during November at the evening worship hour. The Rev.

Dean of the Faculty Dr. W. Callcott, said the proportion of doctors degrees is declining in many colleges and universities be cause of intensified demands for instructional personnel. But at the University of South Carolina, he said, "we have been steadily inv proving our position."
