Charles Anderson Cade McCORMICK Charles Anderson "Boonie" Cade, 49, of Route 1, died Jan. 7, 2001. at the Veterans. Administration Hospital in Augusta. Born in Lincolnton.

Cox ARCADIA Arthur O. Cox, 55, of 795 Ethel Road, husband of Synthia R. Cox, died Jan. 7, 2001, in Arcadia. Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Odell and Flora Seay Cox.

He was a retired maintenance worker with Whispering Pines, Spartanburg, and a Marine Corps veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. Chuck Norris to end stint as 'Texas Ranger' LOS ANGELES Chuck Norris plans to walk away from "Walker, Texas Ranger" after eight seasons of the CBS action series. The TV show, which stars Norris as a tough Texas lawman, will officially end its run in May with a twohour finale. The 60-year-old actor said he decided to quit television so he could focus on making movies again and enjoy more personal time. "Being the executive producer and the lead doesn't give you much time for a life," Norris said in an interview in Monday's Los Angeles Times. The series averages a respectable 10.2 million viewers, but ratings have steadily declined over the years.

She was the last member of her immediate family. She moved out her house of clay on January 8, 2001 after an illness of some eight years. She was a loyal church and presbytery member, an active citizen of her community and the rock on which her family stood. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Wednesday at 3 p.m. A private interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

William Roger Campbell SULLIVANS ISLAND, SC William Roger Campbell, 50 years old, from Sullivans Island, SC expired January 8, 2001 at the home of his brother, Ralph Campbell in Shoals Junction. During his life in Charleston, he was founder and CEO of Southeastern Container Corporation and currently served as president of Container Land Associates, LP and SOE Incorporated. Participation in various organizations included The Citadel Alumni Association, Maritime Association, Propeller Club and Ducks Unlimited.

Roger acquired his pilot's license in 1978 and was a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association.
