ing Center. CALDECOTT Born in Chamblee, she was a daughter of the late David G. and Ora Blankenship Morris. She was active with The Alliance Francaise de Greenwood, Lotus Garden Club, the Humane Society of Greenwood and Greenwood Cancer Fund. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Saturday in Prospect Cemetery, Chamblee. A memorial service is 1 p.m. Feb.

J. Allen "Cowboy" Crawford ABBEVILLE J. Allen "Cowboy" Crawford, 82, husband of Helen Hall Crawford of 100 Dundas Abbeville died Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Crawford was born in Abbeville to the late William A.

and Ada McClain Crawford. Mr. Crawford served in the United States Army. He was a member of the local VFW Post and South Side Baptist Church. His brothers, W.

Kelley and Rayford Crawford predeceased him. Surviving Mr. Crawford is his wife of 62 years of the home, three daughters, Barbara C. Bollman and her husband Paul of Bradley, SC, Anne C. Carver and her husband Larry of Taylors, SC and Rose C.

Weeks of Taylors, SC, a sister, Mildred C. Nance of Abbeville, eight grandchildren, Cindy Hosea and her husband Myron, Eddie Perry, Max Bollman and his wife Melissa, Josh Carver and his wife Amy, Chris Weeks, Matt Weeks, Beth Bollman, Erin Bollman, and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Hosea, Chandler Hosea, and Brady Bollman. The family will receive friends to Friday, February 20, 2004 at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 21, 2004 in the funeral home chapel. Born in Greenwood County, he was CHARLES a son of the MITCHELL late Lula Mitchell. He was of the Baptist faith. A retired machine operator at he was a former landscaper for Dr. Winston Morris and served as a technical sergeant in the Air Force during World War II. Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Charles Mitchell of Nashville, three daughters, Mrs.

Charles (Sandra) Allen and Elaine First Presbyterian Church of Greer and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife Julia Bolt Pace of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Mark A. Sanders of Ninety Six; a granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Sanders; three grandsons, Steven Andrew Sanders, Matthew Aaron Sanders and John William Sanders; two brothers, Michael H. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Mallie Bratcher Rogers. She was a member of Chiquola United Methodist Church and a bookkeeper. Survivors include her husband; a son, Donnie Clyde Phillips of Honea Path; two daughters, Kathy DiBona of Greenwood and Karen P.

Thomas of Waterloo; a brother, Clarence Rogers of Anderson; a sister, Doris Lowe of six grandchildren; 'two great-grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiquola United Methodist Church, conducted by the Revs. Jones Brewer, J.W. Welch and Bobby Davis.

Shaw, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family is at the home of a son, Roger Shaw, 114 Crestview Drive.

Lamar Smith GREENWOOD Henry Lamar Smith, 89, resident of 1110 Marshall Road, husband of Mary Bryan Smith, died February 19, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood county December 6, 1914, he was a son of the late John Lewis and Jessie Langley Smith. He served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and retired from Aldrich Machine Works in Greenwood. He continued to enjoy his part time profession of barbering through January, 2004.

Lamar lived most of his life in Greenwood and enjoyed 63 years of marriage to his loving wife. A faithful member of Tranquil United Methodist Church and the Clark Sunday School Class of the church, he was also a life member and past Master of Greenwood Masonic Lodge AFM. He retired from Manatee County Transit System after 17 years of service and was a bus driver for 42 years, He, was, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 376 of Sarasota and a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of Bradenton; his mother of Greenwood; two stepdaughters, Jackie Covington of Lubbock, Texas and Gaye Adams of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Doug Terry of Pennsylvania and Steven Terry of Spring Hill; two stepsons, Paul Powell of Danville, and Denny Powell of Grayville, five grandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.
