M. Leland and Son for 2,000 Stockholders in Old Lincoln Company PONTIAC. Nov. 13. Ford was nuiiicd defendant in a chaucery suit In volving ,000,000 filed in Circuit Court here today by Henry M.

Leland and his son. Wilfred C. Lelitnd In behalf of nearly 2,000 stockholders in tho old Lincoln Motor Company. Suit Grows Out Tito suit grows out of tho transaction in February, 122, whereby Mr. Ford bought from the Lclands for $8,000,000 the Lincoln Motor Company then in the handa of a receiver.

The bill of complaint Jilcd today charges Mr. Ford failed to keep a verbal agreement to buy tbo ottUtnntl-Ing stock of the active stockholders In whoso behalf the Lclands are suing. Henry M. Leland was president and Wilfred C. Leland vie presldeut of tho Lincoln Company.

The suit Is under a power of attorney granted them by tba stockholders. 1 .1 In their petition filed with, the bill ot complaint, tbo Lclands ask that the atock of the new Lincoln Motor Company, Incorporated March 19. 1122. Issued in consideration of the transfer of assets of the old company and now held by the Fords, be decreed to be held In trust for the benefit ot the plaintiff stockholders. Other Arrangements lit lieu of other arrangements specified in the petition, the court is requested to decree that Ihe Fords be held personally liable to tho plaintiffs in the nmounta 'found to have been by them, respectively with interest tit per cent.
