Maryland senior forward Terence Morris was sixth with 19 votes. The 6-foot-10 Murphy averaged 22.7 points and 10.3 rebounds last season to lead the Big East in both categories, then turned down the chance to enter the NBA draft and decided to to back to Notre Dame for his junior season. "Until I accomplish all of the goals I have, I'll be around here," Murphy said.

The thing that's missing from my college experience is playing in that NCAA tournament I don't care if I average 12 points a game or four points a game. I want to get into the NCAA tournament." St. Josephs StJoeepha 6 King Academy King Academy 6 GREENWOOD CHRISTIAN By The Associated Press For the first time in more than a decade, the Chicago Bulls failed to have a sellout NBA ROUNDUP A total of 399 tickets went unsold Tuesday night as the Bulls were dropping an 88-83 decision to the Washington Wizards. "We anticipated a sellout, but I'm afraid the election and other factors worked against us, said Steve Schanwald, the Bulls executive vice president of business' operations. "It's been a great 13-year run, and we can't say enough about the great and loyal support we have received and continue to receive from our fans. The game was so poorly played that those who chose to stay home appeared to have made the right choice.

The Wizards missed their first IS attempts and shot a dismal 13 percent in the first quarter. The only thing that saved them was Rod Strickland and the Bulls' propensity to foul. Strickland scored six points in the last two minutes, and the Wizards 35 points (35-of-52) at the line. The free throws made up a lot for our poor shooting," said Jahidi White, who made a career-high eight free throws. "It gave us a boost and some easy baskets." Chris Whitney added 17 for the Wizards.

White had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie Khalid El-Amin led the Bulls with 21 points, scoring 13 in the fourth quarter. Elton Brand added IS points and 14 rebounds.
